Duties and Responsibilities
Specific Tasks
- Write Python scripts and use Jupyter notebooks to analyze user behavior data.
- Query the PostgreSQL database to extract onboarding and feature usage patterns.
- Cross-check and validate findings using PostHog’s event tracking dashboards.
- Identify friction points and create concise reports with actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with the UX team to design and evaluate small conversion experiments.
Key Objectives
- Build reproducible analytics workflows (Python + Jupyter + SQL).
- Triangulate insights across PostgreSQL and PostHog to ensure consistency.
- Provide clear, data-backed recommendations to improve user onboarding and feature adoption.

Team Description
- Collaborate with the product manager and UX team.

Skills Required

- Basic SQL knowledge, especially PostgreSQL.
- Ability to interpret event-based analytics tools like PostHog.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
Typical Week
The intern will write SQL queries to pull data from PostgreSQL, run analyses in Jupyter notebooks, and validate key trends in PostHog. They’ll prepare insight summaries and share them with the UX/product team to support experimentation.
